How to Submit a Takedown Notice

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, your request must include all of the following under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the platform
  4. Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
  5. A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act

Counter-Notice Process

If your content was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

A valid counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of federal court

After a valid counter-notice is received, we will forward it to the original claimant. If no court order is filed within 14 business days, the content will be reinstated.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Policy: Infinity-Forum will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. Users who accumulate 3 or more confirmed DMCA takedowns will have their accounts terminated pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(1)(A).

Safe Harbor Notice

Infinity-Forum qualifies for Safe Harbor protection under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) as a service provider hosting user-generated content. We do not control or monitor all content uploaded by users. We act expeditiously to remove infringing content upon receipt of valid notices.
